1. Do you offer evening and weekend appointments?
Answer: Our Showroom is open Monday through Saturday (10AM-6PM) and we offer evening appointments at our
Showroom and Shop-at-Home if necessary.
2. Do you have pictures, samples, and swatches?
Answer: We have a large selection at our Showroom location and we carry some for our Shop-at-Home appointments.
3. Do you have a showroom or place of business?
Answer: We have a Showroom location (4724 SW 72 Ave.) and a separate Factory location (7388 NW 8 St.). We invite
customers to visity our showroom during regular store hours (M-Sat. 10AM-6PM). We also offer evening appointments
if necessary. We also offer Shop-At-Home appointments which allows us to measure your windows and make
suggestions based on your decor. You will find the largest and varied selection in our Showroom so we highly
recommend an initial visit to our Showroom. We suggest you bring approximate measurements and pictures of
the windows and surrounding decor. At our Showroom we will help you make the best selection for your needs.
4. How quickly can we get our window coverings?
Answer: That depends on what you pick. Wood blinds, roller shades, vertical blinds, sliding panels, and mini blinds
may be ready for installation in less than 2 weeks.Luminettes, Silhouettes, and Bamboo shades usually take 3-4
weeks. Draperies, valances, and shutters may take between 6-10 weeks. Holidays may add time to your order. We
strive to make the process a quick one. At times factories experience delays due to material backorders, increased
holiday work, etc. We have temporary shades available at a nominal fee for those who need immediate privacy.
5. What forms of payment do you accept?
Answer: We accept checks, cash, VISA and MasterCard.
6. Is a deposit required to start my order?
Answer: We require a 50% deposit on all orders. Orders larger than $5000 USD my be split in 3 partial payments.
Eeverything we sell is custom made to your dimensions and selections and is difficult to resell. Unless the customer
has placed a rush on the order, we will usually wait at least 2 days to order the blinds to allow any last minute
changes.
7. What brands do you sell?
Answer: We are a HunterDouglas Priority Dealer with the best discounts available. We also carry Graber, Vertilux,
Phifer, Comfortex, and other brands fabricated by by smaller local vendors that offer competitive pricing. Most wood
blinds, roller shades, vertical blinds, and sliding panels are available through local vendors. Silhouettes, Luminettes,
Honeycombs, and other brand items usually take 2-4 weeks for completion. We sell shutters made by Norman
International and we have other sources which we use depending on the type of shutter to be made.We have our own
drapery workroom were we make most of the draperies, valances, and cornices we sell.
8. Do you use subcontractors to measure and install our products?
Answer: We never use subcontractors.
9. Is your work guaranteed?
Answer: We offer a 5 year Limited warranty on all our products. Several companies such as HunterDouglas, Graber,
etc. offer limited lifetime warranties on their products which we will service by sending your products to them for
repair. We will make 3 trips to make repairs free of charge. After the 3rd trip we will charge a $75.00 trip fee for any
repairs which we consider to be as a result of improper use, excessive wear and tear, weather related, etc. Any parts
that need to be replaced may be charged to you at our own discretion. We want you to come back to us and refer us
to your friends so we will always make a HUGE effort to solve problems without additional costs to you.
10. Can I change my order or cancel it once I've placed it?
Answer: All the products we sell are custom made to your specifications therefore cancellations or changes are not
allowed once an order is placed. If you advise us immediately after you place your order we will make every effort
to make changes or accept cancellations but it is usually not possible.
